Following from my experimentating process (previous blog entry) I discovered that my type needed to be adjusted to suit the laser cutter and keep the letters intact. Therefore, I used Illustrator to adjust my type. I produced a laser typeface which consists of an upper and lower case alphabet and numbers that can now be used successfully when applied with the laser.
